Jamestown – The Frontier Village and its rebrand were recent recipients of an American Advertising Award (ADDY) through the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota.<\/p>\n\n\n

In a partnership with The Good Kids, a Bismarck-based design studio, work was completed to help share the settlement story of Jamestown, North Dakota while creating a fun and interactive must-see road trip detour along I-94.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe wanted to provide an experience that would inspire visitors to stay and play in Jamestown,\u201d stated Jamestown Tourism Executive Director Emily Bivens. \u201cThis would ultimately further our community\u2019s economic development.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the process, the settlers\u2019 story was brought to life using a mix of legendary, adventurous, and playful fonts and colors that convey the \u201crough and tumble\u201d way of the pioneers. A new mascot, Mayor Marty Sinclair, and other village characters were created to interact with visitors and teach them about the frontier life through their unique perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Good Kids partnered with Frontier Village on a brand refresh to share the settlement story of Jamestown, ND while creating a fun and interactive must-see road trip detour along I-94,\u201d stated The Good Kids Co-founder Ashton Hauff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe took a strategic approach by surveying community members and tourists alike to learn what matters most to them. With the results in hand, we created a heavily visual brand filled with an attention-grabbing logo, color suite, and village characters to bring the Frontier story to life. Now the Frontier team has everything they need to turn the \u2018Are we there yet?\u2019 into \u2018When can we go back?!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
