DICKINSON, N.D. (KFGO) \u2013 Four people were arrested in a major drug bust at an apartment building in Dickinson late Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
42-year-old Aaron Baker was the subject of the investigation. Police say as they, the Southwest Narcotics Task Force, and a SWAT Team neared Baker\u2019s apartment, he was spotted driving away from the scene but was stopped by officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the SWAT Team entered the building with a search warrant, police say an upstairs neighbor started stomping on the floor to warn those in the apartment below. The SWAT Team made forced entry and found 45-year-old Demetrice Askew and 44-year-old Willy McCally inside. They were detained without incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A search turned up a pound of meth, 66-grams of cocaine, 15-grams of marijuana, fentanyl pills, $18,000 cash, and a stolen gun. Police believe that prior to SWAT entry, additional narcotics were flushed down a toilet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baker, Askew, and McCaulley were all arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and a number of other charges. The upstairs neighbor was also arrested for Hindering Law Enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police say the charges may be enhanced as the apartment is directly across from an elementary school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
