The location of the project is in the 300 to 600 block area of 12<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new diagonal section of road will be built at 12<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE and 5<sup>th<\/sup> street SE and will curve to the 11<sup>th<\/sup> Ave and 4<sup>th<\/sup> street SE intersection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A cul-de-sac will be created for the two businesses located along 12<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE to have access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This construction project will improve traffic and reduce dangerous turns to the Burlington railroad quiet zone. The current westbound U turn to go south on 12<sup>th<\/sup> Ave SE will be eliminated.   To get to 12th Ave SE, motorists will turn south at 11th Av SE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>$281,000 of Federal Highway Administration Coronavirus Infrastructure Funds will be allocated towards the project.
