John Hoeven a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded more than $11 million to the following North Dakota airports for projects including runway, taxiway, terminal and lighting improvements, as well as upgrades to snow removal equipment and facilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Jamestown Regional Airport- $7,007,500<\/strong><\/li><li>Minot International Airport &#8211; $980,000<\/li><li>Ellendale Airport &#8211; $600,000<\/li><li>Linton Municipal Airport &#8211; $528,093<\/li><li>Kenmare Municipal Airport &#8211; $459,786<\/li><li>Gwinner Municipal Airport &#8211; $448,000<\/li><li>Mercer County Regional Airport &#8211; $300,000<\/li><li>Standing Rock Airport &#8211; $300,000<\/li><li><strong>Barnes County Municipal Airport &#8211; $203,000<\/strong><\/li><li>International Peace Garden Airport &#8211; $185,000<\/li><li>Watford City Airport &#8211; $72,000<\/li><li>Wahpeton Airport &#8211; $35,000<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThese grants will help improve our airports, and ensure they are safe and efficient for travelers now and into the future,\u201d said Hoeven.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BISMARCK \u2013 Sen.
