\"NDHighwayPatrolFatalCrash\"<\/a>Jamestown ND (KCSi-T.V. News Sept 12, 2013) —\u00a0 The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of those involved in a one vehicle rollover accident Wednesday evening about 9:40- p.m.,\u00a0near Spiritwood, that claimed the life of a Jamestown man.<\/p>\n

The report says a 1972 Ford pickup driven by 48 year old Leon Skjeret of Jamestown was northbound on Stutsman County Road 62 en route from Spiritwood,\u00a0 to Wimbledon.\u00a0 The vehicle dropped off the east edge of the roadway and the driver over-corrected losing control of the vehicle.\u00a0 The vehicle slid sideways across the roadway and entered the west ditch.\u00a0 The vehicle overturned several times in the west ditch.<\/p>\n

Both\u00a0Skjeret and passenger,\u00a0 24 year old Harmony Olafson of Jamestown\u00a0were not seat belted and were ejected from the vehicle.\u00a0\u00a0Skjeret \u00a0was pronounced dead at the scene.\u00a0\u00a0Olafson was injured and taken to Jamestown\u00a0 Regional Medical Center by ambulance for non life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

The Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n
