The proceeds of this event go directly to student scholarship, allowing us to carry out our mission of providing students with a high-quality, holistic experience that is affordable and accessible by an ever-increasing number of students,\u201d said Dr. Polly Peterson, President of University of Jamestown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dine and Bid is an annual University of Jamestown auction, featuring a social, dinner, a student lip sync battle, and both a silent and live auction. This year, in line with the theme, guests were surrounded by footage of tropical beaches, as well as resort-themed d\u00e9cor and photo booths. In addition to the record-breaking amount raised, the event was also the most attended Dine and Bid in the University\u2019s history with 505 guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDine and Bid continues to be our premier event where alumni, friends, and community support comes together. We cannot thank this group enough for their generosity, enabling the University of Jamestown to continue to raise scholarship dollars, bringing students from all over the county and world to Jamestown.
