The incident occurred about 10 miles northwest of Ray in Williams County. The oil release was contained to a road ditch. <br><br>Personnel from the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality will oversee the cleanup and remediation.<br><br> Federal and state laws require that operators report the spillage of any materials that may pollute water, air or soil.
