Chamber – The Customer Service Award for July to Brian Rice and Joe Hunt with UPS for their outstanding customer service. Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe\u2019s nomination stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c[He is] always willing to deliver packages inside the garage, talks to the cat, and greets with a friendly smile. He will call you if there\u2019s a delay and will meet you on the route if you need it quicker.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Brian\u2019s nomination stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was running about five minutes late this morning. As I was gathering the last of my things from home, my phone rang. It was Brian with UPS. He was at my shop and had come with packages for me. I asked if he could give me two minutes and he said \u2018sure.\u2019 As I was driving back, I kept thinking what kind of UPS guy wants to wait for his customer when he has a fully loaded truck. When I pulled up, he was there smiling like usual. He is such a gem and I\u2019m incredibly grateful for him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
