{"id":274376,"date":"2023-08-01T13:48:24","date_gmt":"2023-08-01T18:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=274376"},"modified":"2023-08-07T14:49:54","modified_gmt":"2023-08-07T19:49:54","slug":"raymond-smedshammer-sunday-january-8-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=274376","title":{"rendered":"Raymond Smedshammer &#8211; Fellowship Aug 12 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Raymond Smedshammer, 94, Fargo, ND, formerly of Valley City, ND, died Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo. &nbsp;A time for visiting and fellowship will be held a<strong>t Faith Lutheran Church in Valley City on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 1-3 PM<\/strong>. &nbsp;He will be laid to rest with military honors at the ND Veteran\u2019s Cemetery in Mandan, ND on August 14 at 3 PM. &nbsp;An online guestbook is available at www.lerudmathias.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raymond Alfred Smedshammer was born, October 8, 1928, in Litchville, ND to Justin and Myrtle (Linn) Smedshammer. &nbsp;Ray served in the US Army during the Korean War. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 6, 1961, he was united in marriage to Karen Borgeson at the North LaMoure Church near Litchville, ND.
