At the Tuesday September 5 council meeting &#8211; now replaying on<strong> CSi 67<\/strong> &#8211; Mayor Heinrich said the Melland family has agreed to sell land in Southwest Jamestown for $900,000.  The City Attorney was authorized to prepare a draft purchase agreement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the August Finance and Legal Meeting, it was discussed by Mayor Dwaine Heinrich, to acquire the properties at 1604 &amp; 1620 8th Ave SW and 1509 9th Ave SW, including the existing building, as a possible new future Public Safety facility location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Council then directed city staff to create plans for City owned property at Railroad Drive East (formally LeFevre Sales), including the demolition of buildings and leaving a 265 x 65 foot storage building to be remodeled. The attached smaller building will be demolished.
