News Sept 18, 2013)\u00a0 \u2013 The Southeast Jamestown Regional DUI Task Force participated in the Regional DUI Task Force program in North Dakota.\u00a0 They<b> <\/b>made 3 driving under the influence arrests, 38 other alcohol-related citations, 4 drug arrests, 13 seat belt citations, 77 speed citations and 29 other significant arrests and traffic citations and made a total of 220 enforcement contacts during the recent unified saturation patrol effort.\u00a0 This task force began on October 1, 2010 in order to take significant steps towards reducing alcohol-related crashes and fatalities across the state.<\/p>\n<p>In the Southeast Jamestown Region, 11 law enforcement agencies participated in the fourth quarter of this program, which was conducted from August 16 \u2013 September 2, 2013.\u00a0 By working together to create high visibility enforcement, early results show a positive impact on deterring motorists from drinking and driving. These statistics emphasize the importance of enforcement and saturation patrols in protecting motorists on North Dakota\u2019s roadways.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly eighty percent of all law enforcement agencies currently participate in the DUI Task Force across North Dakota.\u00a0 This program is intended to save lives by reducing alcohol-related fatalities and car crashes.<\/p>\n<p>The Southeast Jamestown DUI Task Force includes the following agencies:\u00a0 NDHP, Foster, Griggs, Stutsman, Barnes, McIntosh and LaMoure Sheriff\u2019s Departments, and Carrington, Jamestown, Valley City and Oakes Police Departments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
