At the Alfred Dickey Public Library will be a celebration of the book launch honoring Dorothy Carlson. The book launch party and book signing event will be held at Alfred Dickey Public Library on Saturday, October 28th from 1 pm to 3 pm. Dorothy\u2019s brother and author Stephen Nyberg will also be there signing his books. The library will also be serving cake and beverages during the party. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dorothy Emeline Carlson grew up wild and free on the Dakota plains. True to her heritage, she now homesteads with her husband and homeschools her two girls-when she isn’t writing, which admittedly is not often. She’s always loved the written word. Dorothy will be at the Alfred Dickey Public Library signing her books from 1-3 pm Saturday, October 28th! She invites you to come get your very own slice of the Empire of Ash and Song epic and celebrate her book’s release!<\/p>\n\n\n

To Bind Fire<\/em> is book one in the Empire of Ash and Song series, YA Christian Fantasy Romance. Dorothy delights in writing clean but still powerful romance, angsty characters, and world-shattering moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephen Nyberg has been drawing comics since he was eight, and self-publishing comic books since he was fifteen. Perhaps you\u2019ve run across \u201cThe Randy Allen Mystery Series\u201d or \u201cChet Chetterson\u2019s Adventures\u201d in the Alfred Dickey children\u2019s library, and know first-hand the fun and ridiculosity of his original humor. In addition to these books, Stephen draws and posts to his Facebook page \u201cKomix Theatre\u201d, a comic strip that spoofs the humor of all our daily lives. There are seven book collections of Komix theatre strips, each containing a full year worth of daily comic strips, that will be available for purchase from 1-3 pm Saturday, October 28th<\/sup>, and Stephen will be there to sign them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come down and get a helping of humor that\u2019ll leave kids, and adults as well, roaring with laughter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
