NDHP – On December 11 at 7:22am a 2001 Chevy Silverado, driven by Keith Manchester, was traveling westbound
on 71st Ave NE just outside Bismarck City Limits. Manchester crossed over the centerline and
into the eastbound lane of 71st Ave NE. Manchester struck a 2012 Chevy Silverado that was
traveling eastbound head on. 2012 Silverado was pushed into the south ditch and the 2001
Silverado came to rest in the roadway. Driver of 2012 Silverado, Leo Grosz, was extricated
from pickup and transported to CHI St. Alexius where he died from his injuries. Manchester
was also transported to CHI for serious non-life threatening injuries. Roadway was closed and rerouted
