{"id":280262,"date":"2024-02-28T10:19:26","date_gmt":"2024-02-28T16:19:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=280262"},"modified":"2024-02-28T10:19:27","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T16:19:27","slug":"walter-bud-job-friday-february-23-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=280262","title":{"rendered":"Walter (Bud) Job &#8211; Friday February 23, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Walter (Bud) Job, age 87, passed away with his family by his side on February 23, 2024 in Rochester, MN as a result of complications after surgery.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bud was born in Edgeley, ND on January 7, 1937 to Jacob Job and Christina (Ruether) Job.&nbsp; He attended school in Glenmore Township.&nbsp; In 1954 and 1955, he farmed with his father before moving to Oregon where he operated a dairy farm for seven years.&nbsp; He was married while in Oregon and had three children:&nbsp; Sherry, Larry, and Walter Job Jr. (Fritz).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He returned to Windsor, ND in 1966 and in 1967 began operating a dairy and grain farm.&nbsp; Later, in 1976, he sold the dairy operation and started the Windsor Farm Supply in Windsor.&nbsp; In 1978, he began raising and racing thoroughbred horses and also invested in beef cattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1977, he married Betty George from Tappen, ND.&nbsp; From that time forward, they worked and farmed side by side.&nbsp; Their son Jason was born in 1979.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bud loved horses, and in 1983 founded the Windsor Horse Club.&nbsp; Over the years, the club provided trail ride events and hosted many horse shows that brought crowds and contestants from near and far.&nbsp; Bud loved fishing, hunting, riding horses and traveling.&nbsp; He was an avid storyteller and loved sitting and visiting with everyone.&nbsp; His ready smile and friendly demeanor invited all into his circle.
