The intersection of 2nd Ave NE will remain open at all times during the construction of Phase 2. The closure will remain in effect until the corridor is reconstructed, which is anticipated to be late July. No detour route for motorized vehicles will be provided, temporary pedestrian access routes will be provided along the project route for the duration of the project.<br>Updated maps for all road closures will be posted on the City of Valley City\u2019s webpage <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phase 1 of Paving Improvement District 125 was substantially<strong> completed in 2023.<\/strong> This work included 2nd Ave NE from 2nd St NE to 5th St NE and 4th St NE from 2nd Ave NE to approximately 3rd Ave NE. Landscaping and street lighting will be completed in 2024. These corridors will remain open throughout construction in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.valleycity.us\/engineers \">https:\/\/www.valleycity.us\/engineers <\/a>when they are taking affect.
