The incident occurred about 10 miles northeast of Maxbass on June 24.<br><br> Cobra estimates approximately 200 barrels (8,400 gallons) of produced water and 25 barrels (1,050 gallons) of crude oil were released from the pipeline, impacting surrounding agricultural land. Produced water is a by-product of oil and gas development. <br><br>Personnel from Environmental Quality have inspected the site and will continue to monitor the investigation and remediation. <br><br>Federal and state laws require that operators report the spillage of any materials that may pollute water, air or soil.
