JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A Jamestown woman, Marilyn Kay Hetletvedt, is charged with terrorizing for allegedly threatening to shoot her boss at Menards with an AR15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The court documents state Menards is cutting every worker\u2019s hours and wages due to a decrease in revenue. Hetletvedt was upset, according to the documents, and felt as though she was being targeted specifically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the court documents, a woman told her boss that her coworker, Hetletvedt, said she was going to \u201cgo home and get her AR and come back and show him\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The manager called police, saying he feared for his safety. The manager showed police two Facebook photos that had posted of herself holding guns; one appearing to be an AR and the other a revolver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the documents, the witness told police that Hetletvedt said she (the witness) would not get hurt, \u201cI would just tell you to, brought her hand up to her mouth making the SHH motion, and let me do my thing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hetletvedt was terminated from Menards and issued a no trespass order on Menards property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers found her vehicle in the Hugo\u2019s parking lot and arrested her inside the store. According to court documents, Hetletvedt told officers she says things jokingly. Hetletvedt stated \u201cshe did say she should walk in there with an AR 15 and open fire, ya know.\u201d \u201cIt was probably a bad joke.\u201d The documents state she went on to say \u201cshe would walk back and shoot him or anyone else in the store.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The documents state the officer informed her that \u201cthere are some things you cannot say, especially nowadays with things that have happened in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hetletvedt\u2019s preliminary hearing is set for September 18th, with a jury trial scheduled to begin December 26th. If found guilty, she faces a mandatory minimum of two years in prison and could face up to five years and\/or a $10,000 fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
