JRMC \u2014 Jamestown Regional Medical Center has implemented a state-of-the-art contrast-enhanced digital mammography (CEDM) machine, significantly improving breast cancer detection. As the first healthcare facility in Jamestown to offer this advanced imaging, JRMC reinforces its commitment to providing exceptional care and improving the community\u2019s health outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEDM uses contrast agents to enhance breast tissue visualization, allowing for earlier detection of abnormalities. Early detection of breast cancer can lead to better treatment outcomes for patients. CEDM is expected to play a significant role in transforming breast cancer detection and treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A generous grant from the JRMC Foundation<\/a> made possible the purchase of a power injector, an essential component for the Contrast-Enhanced Digital Mammography (CEDM) machine. Thanks to the Foundation\u2019s devotion to advancing healthcare in Jamestown, JRMC can offer this progressive diagnostic tool to its patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This investment aligns with JRMC\u2019s commitment to providing comprehensive women\u2019s health services<\/a>, including breast cancer prevention and early detection,\u201d said Tonya Perkins, JRMC Foundation Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure every woman can receive the care she deserves, JRMC proudly offers the No Excuses program<\/a>. This program provides financial assistance and support to women who need mammograms and other preventive screenings. The program aims to remove barriers to care and ensure every woman can access the support she needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
