Sue Milender from NDSU Extension-Barnes County will provide a short program, \u201cNourish your Brain,\u201d starting at 1:30 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to start our second year of the Sheyenne Valley Memory Caf\u00e9,\u201d says Kerry Due, Director of Nursing at City-County Health District. The Sheyenne Valley Memory Caf\u00e9 began in 2023 to bring together individuals with dementia or early onset Alzheimer\u2019s. The Memory Caf\u00e9 also provides support and connection for caregivers and family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYour brain needs fuel to operate efficiently. Eating healthier foods can help you reduce your risk of cognitive decline. This includes more vegetables, leaner meats\/proteins, and foods that are less processed and lower in fat.
