Guthmiller, a Nutrition Technologist, works in JRMC\u2019s Nutrition Services department. She was nominated for JRMC\u2019s Legend Award by Nutrition Services Manager, Emily Allen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLinda is the kind of person that everyone loves to work with,\u201d Allen wrote in her nomination. \u201cShe is phenomenal at what she does, she is professional, has an exceptionally kind attitude and takes great pride in her work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Guthmiller first began working at JRMC 44 years ago and has since become known as a cornerstone in her department. As a primary part of her role, Guthmiller plans and produces patient meals based on specific, individual dietary guidelines to ensure patients are getting optimal nutrition that meets their needs. Her expertise in dietary supervision supports JRMC in providing top-tier medical care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her years of experience and wealth of knowledge are valued by her coworkers, who praise her ability to calmly handle unexpected challenges during her busy day and willingness to guide her team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Legend Award<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A legend is not created in a day. It takes consistent commitment to performing with selfless purpose. A legend commits every day \u2014 without concern for recognition \u2014 to being irreplaceable. JRMC employees nominate one another for the honor; voted on by the 350 medical center team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The purpose of the Legend Award is to inspire, motivate and capture the moments that define JRMC. The goal is to help employees and volunteers connect to the sense of purpose that brought them to the organization. This award is for employees who\u2019ve made extreme efforts to benefit their patients and colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Legend Award first began in 2012.
