With its blend of real North Dakota history, cool landmarks, and exhibits, the Village attracted visitors from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 130,000 visitors from all 50 states and more than 60 countries came to see the Village between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Managed by Jamestown Tourism, Frontier Village continues to offer a glimpse into Jamestown\u2019s past while providing fun for the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitor Experience Manager, Allison Limke, says the General Store was also key in delivering a memorable experience to those who visited. The store focused on selling unique Jamestown souvenirs, local products, and, of course, hand-dipped ice cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIce cream accounted for more than 50% of our sales at the General Store this summer,\u201d Limke shared, highlighting one of the season\u2019s top attractions. \u201cWe also sold 813 slices of kuchen, 69 whole kuchen, 212 pounds of candy, and more than 180 honey products.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new feature offered this summer was a brand-new playground, made possible thanks to community donations and grants. Other new features included a brand-new website at FrontierVillageND.com, scavenger hunt, food truck space, and plantings along the path to the World\u2019s Largest Buffalo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019d like to thank those of you who continue supporting our Frontier Village,\u201d Limke added. \u201cI\u2019d also like to give a special thank you to our greeters, General Store staff, and vendors who make the Frontier Village an enjoyable place for everyone who stops by.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JAMESTOWN, N.D. \u2013 Jamestown\u2019s Frontier Village wrapped up another exciting summer season in 2024.
