Jamestown – The Jamestown Community Foundation recently awarded a $2,500 grant to the JRMC Foundation to assist with the purchase of a new Infant Warmer for the Family Birth Center at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.  This piece of equipment is vital to ensure that every baby born at JRMC receives the very best care.  With this infant warmer comes new technology that assists in the resuscitation of newborns if needed.  It also has built in oxygen saturation monitor, blended oxygen, scale, and other features that are a must for a modern healthcare environment.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jamestown Hospital Foundation was established as a non-profit in 1985, later becoming the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Foundation.  Their mission is to secure philanthropic gifts that will advance the mission and strategic objectives of JRMC.   Their focus is to fund cancer care and humanitarian needs, capital facilities, endowment, human capital, innovation and technology, and equipment while providing a healing environment at JRMC.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
