NDHP – On December 10 at 5:30pm a Ford F-150 was eastbound on I-94 near milepost 343 when the driver lost control on an icy bridge deck. The vehicle began rotating and was struck by several other vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The F-150 became disabled in the roadway until NDHP Troopers were able to quick clear the
vehicle from the lanes of travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sanford Ambulance arrived on scene and treated those involved for minor injuries. No one
was transported from the scene by ambulance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NDHP would like to remind the public that crashes like this can be avoided by driving
distraction free, driving appropriately for the road conditions, and maintaining a safe driving
distance. During winter months greater following distances are needed. As a general rule, 8 to
10 seconds during winter months is suggested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
