Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Oct 2, 2013) — The new Executive Director, at the James River Family Y, in Jamestown says, the facility has had several changes over the past few month.<\/p>\n
On Thursday\u2019s (Oct 3, 2013) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Frank Conlin said he started his new position on August 1st<\/sup> this year.<\/p>\n He pointed out that the Nautilus Room, at the Y, has been moved into a climate controlled area. He added that the Fitness on Demand program also has a climate controlled room, with the workout, dialed up on computers.<\/p>\n Signups are going on for the Fall 2 Session at the Y, with brochures at the front desk.<\/p>\n Coming up is the Mighty Mites youth basketball, along with youth soccer, and volleyball, along with swimming lessons and adult classes and leagues.<\/p>\n Conlin added that Ocotber 19, 2013 is the 3-on-3 basketball tournament for youth in grades 5,6,7, and 8, with registration now being accepted.<\/p>\n He noted that the Y\u2019s Learning Center, has about 100 pre-schoolers enrolled.<\/p>\n This year the Y\u2019s Halloween Party is set for Friday October 25, 2013 at the Y, from 5:30 p.m., to 8-p.m.<\/p>\n For more information contact the James River Family Y.<\/p>\n Frank Conlin comes to the Y\u2019s Executive Director\u2019s position after spending several years in education as an English teacher, and coach.<\/p>\n He had been in education for 32 years, including 28 years at Jamestown High School, including 20 years as the Blue Jays Head Football Coach, and a track and field coach for 32 years, 18 of which were the Jays track and field coach.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
