On December 23rd, 2024 at approximately 6:28 am, Robyn Krause was crossing 38th St S at 53rd
Ave S in Fargo when she was struck by a Dodge Charger. Krause had been walking
eastbound, and the Dodge had been northbound. The driver of the Dodge did not stop and
fled the scene of the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Witnesses on scene and traffic camera footage identified a possible striking vehicle as a light
colored Dodge Charger. The Dodge Charger fled the crash scene eastbound on 52nd Ave S in
Fargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NDHP was able to identify a matching vehicle from a previous contact with the NDHP.
The 2022 Dodge Charger was located in Fargo and the suspect, Alex Cruz, was taken into
custody for felony leaving the scene of a fatal crash. He was transported to the Cass County
Jail and remains in custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
