JPD \u2013 The Jamestown Police Department wants to notify Jamestown residents regarding a new high risk sex offender who is residing within the city of Jamestown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

54 years of age, Howard Brian Johnson, lives at 1530 6th Av SW #37 – Buffalo Motel <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson drives a White 2006 Subaru Forester<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson is white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 190\u00a0pounds, and has Green eyes and Brown hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Johnson has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offense<\/strong>: GSI \u2013 Sexual Contact \u2013 victim <15 \u2013 When Howard was 51 years old, he took away the 11-year-old victim\u2019s phone and locked her in a room. Johnson put his hands down the victim\u2019s pants and touched her vagina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conviction Date<\/strong>: 09\/28\/2023 in Mountrail County District Court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposition:<\/strong> 8 years; serve 3 years; 436 days credit; 5 years supervised probation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offense:<\/strong> Lewd\/Lasc\/Indecent Act Upon a Child \u2013 Johnson had sexual contact with a minor female.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conviction Date:<\/strong> 07\/30\/2004 in Highlands, Florida District Court<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposition<\/strong>: 8 1\/2 years; credit for time served; 6 1\/2 years probation; concurrent.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offense:<\/strong> Lewd Molestation \u2013 Johnson had sexual contact with a minor female.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposition:<\/strong> 07\/30\/2004 in Highlands, Florida District Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposition:<\/strong> 8 1\/2 years; credit for time served; 6 1\/2 years probation; concurrent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this
information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or
threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
