{"id":289527,"date":"2024-12-30T08:47:39","date_gmt":"2024-12-30T14:47:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=289527"},"modified":"2024-12-30T08:47:40","modified_gmt":"2024-12-30T14:47:40","slug":"northbound-i-29-pursuit-richland-county-dec-27th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=289527","title":{"rendered":"Northbound I-29 Pursuit \u2013 Richland County Dec 27th"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>NDHP &#8211; On December 27th, 2024 at approximately 12:04 am, a Roberts County, SD Sheriff\u2019s Deputy<br>pursued a 2008 Lincoln MKZ northbound on I-29 into Richland County in North Dakota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ND Highway Patrol (NDHP) responded to assist and took over the pursuit near MM 37 on<br>I-29 in Richland County. A NDHP trooper was able to utilize a Stinger spike strip to deflate<br>two of the Lincoln\u2019s tires near MM 41. A short time later, another NDHP trooper utilized a PIT<br>(pursuit intervention technique) maneuver to cause the Lincoln to enter the median and<br>become disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver of the Lincoln, Gregory Richards, 40 YOA male, Fargo, ND, was taken into custody<br>and transported to the Richland County Jail. He was charged with felony fleeing (2nd offense<br>in 3 yrs) and misdemeanor driving under the influence-drugs, driving under suspension (4th<br>offense in 5 yrs) and reckless endangerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A female passenger in the Lincoln was not arrested and transported to a residence in Fargo.<br>Charges are pending in Roberts County, SD.
