JPD \u2013 The Jamestown Police Department wants to notify Jamestown residents regarding a new high risk sex offender who is residing within the city of Jamestown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

45 years of age, Shaun Michael Johnson, lives at 1009 5th Ave NE Jamestown, ND 58401<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson drives a Tan 2000 Chevrolet Silverado ND license 925EEA, Silver 2002 Lincoln Continental ND license 525DTP<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson is white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 220\u00a0pounds, and has Brown eyes and Brown hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Johnson has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offense<\/strong>: Gross Sexual Imposition – Johnson asked to spend the night at a family’s house so he wouldn’t have to drive home. After parents went to bed, Johnson went to a 12-year-old girl’s bedroom and fondled her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conviction Date<\/strong>: 07\/09\/2005 in Williams County District Court<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposition:<\/strong>\u00a05 years suspended for 10 years; 10 years supervised probation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offense:<\/strong>\u00a0Gross Sexual Imposition \u2013 Johnson engaged in sexual acts with three girls ages 12 to 15 and one boy age 13. Johnson\u2019s probation was revoked for having sex with two more girls, ages 14 and 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conviction Date:<\/strong>\u00a012\/17\/1998 in Williams County District Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposition<\/strong>:\u00a05 years; 4.5 years suspended for 8 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offense:<\/strong>\u00a0Indecent Exposure \u2013 Johnson exposed himself to two 14-year-old girls, asked them to engage in sexual acts, and then attempted to force himself on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conviction Date:<\/strong> 11\/27\/1995 in Williams County District Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disposition:<\/strong>\u00a01 year probation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.\u00a0 This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender.\u00a0 Attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
