(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.valleynewslive.com\/2025\/01\/31\/valley-city-talks-get-new-public-works-service-center\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.valleynewslive.com\/2025\/01\/31\/valley-city-talks-get-new-public-works-service-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Valley News Live<\/a>) &#8211; The city of Valley City has entered into contracts for a new Public Works Service Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city tells Valley News Live it has entered those contracts for engineering design and architectural work. Through a competitive and public process, EAPC Architects &amp; Engineers and McGough Construction were selected. During numerous meetings with city officials, it\u2019s been recommended the City Commission allocate up to $15 million for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bids have been solicited for the pre-engineered metal building portion of the project to help identify costs and stay on schedule.
