{"id":290868,"date":"2025-02-14T10:29:51","date_gmt":"2025-02-14T16:29:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=290868"},"modified":"2025-02-17T14:25:47","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T20:25:47","slug":"shaun-salberg-wednesday-february-12-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=290868","title":{"rendered":"Shaun Salberg &#8211; Wednesday February 12, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full\"><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/salbergshaun21225.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/salbergshaun21225.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-290932\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/salbergshaun21225.jpg 200w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/salbergshaun21225-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/salbergshaun21225-175x175.jpg 175w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Shaun Salberg, age 40, of Valley City, ND, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 12th at his residence. &nbsp;An informal celebration of Shaun\u2019s Life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 1st at the Lerud Mathias Funeral Home Chapel. &nbsp;The family asks that you dress comfortably or in in Minnesota Vikings gear if you wish. &nbsp;An online guestbook will be available at www.lerudmathias.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shaun James Salberg was born November 28, 1984, to Ken and Suzy (Busche) Salberg in Valley City, ND. &nbsp;Shaun grew up and attended school in Valley City. &nbsp;As a young child he joined the youth bowling league and excelled, taking home many awards over the years during which he was involved. &nbsp;He played football in junior high and high school until he was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes at age 16. &nbsp;Shaun graduated from VCHS in 2002. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After high school Shaun attended NDSCS in Wahpeton for a short time where he worked at McDonalds. &nbsp;He later moved to Fargo where he worked at Target, US Bank and Toys R Us. &nbsp; In 2007 he married Jennaca Killoran. &nbsp;They made their home in Fargo and later Valley City. &nbsp;In 2010 Shaun and Jen welcomed their first child, Kennedy, and in 2013, welcomed Benjamin, into their family. &nbsp;Shaun and Jen later divorced. &nbsp;Throughout his life Shaun held many different jobs including Marketplace Foods, Pizza Corner, Burger King, and Arby\u2019s, McDonalds\u2026.
