Paul McDonald, TR News\/Sports – The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual in-person Celebration and Awards social, dinner and awards presentation event at the North 9 Bar and Grill at the Valley City Town and Country Club recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chamber Board and staff were joined by a large crowd of people representing several of the local businesses. They were all gathered to celebrate the local business community of Valley City and enjoy a great chicken alfredo dinner and cheese cake desert prepared by the great staff at the North 9.<\/p>\n\n\n

Community Image Award: The Valley City Barnes County Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emerging Business of the Year: Gleam Aesthetic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Business of the Year Award: CHI Mercy Health Valley City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Spirit Award: Trinity Nelson of the Valley City-Barnes County Development Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Emerging Leader of the Year: Matt Nielson, teacher, coach and bus driver of state champions at Valley City Public Schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hi-Line Award: Kayla Beilke of Chi Mercy Health of Valley City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The board and staff would also like to share a special thank you to all of the Valley City Chamber businesses and organizations for being a part of this great team that work together making our local economy vibrant. The Chamber appreciates your support and looks forward to working with and serving you in the coming years.
