North Dakota State Representative Cindy Schrieber-Beck was a \u201cchampion\u201d for her family, the State of North Dakota and the North Dakota\u00a0 Agriculture Aviation Association to name a few.\u00a0 My sympathies to her family and friends, she was a special woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kudos and thank you to the folks who facilitated the local Soapbox Derby over the weekend, I know it is a big job.\u00a0 In case folks aren\u2019t aware, some divisions in this event qualify for the International Derby in Akron, Ohio so the event is significant in the derby world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 9-13 the city is holding an \u201cElectronics Clean Up\u201d at the Transfer Station for residents and businesses of Valley City.\u00a0 You can dispose of electronics, televisions, printers and computers for ONLY $0.75 per pound (CASH ONLY).\u00a0 Please respect the \u201crules of the day\u201d and enjoy the service, thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Valley City Police Department now has a secure location for your Internet purchases. If you want to meet at a safe space with camera footage, use this location in front of the Police Department for your exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
