With input from staff and based on best practices in behavioral health, the design incorporates <strong>enhanced safety measures, natural light, flexible treatment spaces, and trauma-informed design<\/strong> to better support both patients and care teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hospital leadership emphasized how the new facility will transform care. <strong>State Hospital Superintendent Aaron Olson<\/strong> and <strong>Medical Director Dr. Eduardo Yabut<\/strong> joined <strong>Gov.
