\u201cVeteran\u201d Major League Baseball (MLB) Fans may remember when numerous players played a whole career with one team.\u00a0 In 1970 Curt Flood successfully sued MLB (Flood V Kuhn) resulting in \u201cFree Agency\u201d.\u00a0 Beginning in 1976 said judgment allowed players to negotiate contracts with other teams when their current contracts expired. It was a huge change in MLB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
