News Oct.\u00a014, 2013\u00a0&#8211; The N.D. Department of Human Services\u2019 Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) announced today that <b>Opportunity Foundation, Inc.<\/b> of <b>Williston <\/b>and <b>Central Market<\/b> of <b>Bismarck and Mandan <\/b>have been named co-recipients of the <i>2013 N.D. State DVR<\/i> <i>Employer of the Year Awards.\u00a0 <\/i><\/p>\n<p>The awards honor North Dakota business owners and employers for their continued work with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and for their work within their communities to support, develop, and inspire individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential.\u00a0 The division and the N.D. State Rehabilitation Council selected Opportunity Foundation, Inc. and Central Market from eight regional employer award recipients.<\/p>\n<p>The other regional employer award-winners include Dan\u2019s Supermarket, <b>Dickinson; <\/b>Leevers Foods, <b>Devils Lake<\/b>; Red River Commodities, Inc., <b>Fargo<\/b>; Rydell Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, <b>Grand Forks<\/b>; Service Master, <b>Valley City<\/b>; and Gooseneck Implement, <b>Minot<\/b>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The two state awards were presented to business representatives from Opportunity Foundation,<b> <\/b>Inc. and Central Market<b> <\/b>during a luncheon reception at the division\u2019s annual training conference in Bismarck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a pleasure to honor these companies. Their progressive attitudes and business practices have allowed individuals with disabilities who are living and working in their communities to put their abilities to work,\u201d said Russ Cusack, director of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<p>Cusack said these companies serve as models for other North Dakota businesses.
