{"id":33193,"date":"2013-11-26T09:50:17","date_gmt":"2013-11-26T15:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=33193"},"modified":"2013-11-27T10:00:22","modified_gmt":"2013-11-27T16:00:22","slug":"y-hosting-float-flicks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=33193","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Y&#8221; Hosting &#8220;Float &#038; Flicks&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Y-logo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-28936\" alt=\"Y logo\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Y-logo.jpg\" width=\"160\" height=\"105\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi) The James River Family &#8220;Y&#8221; in Jamestown recently hosted over 150 wrestlers with the tournament in conjunction with the University of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday\u2019s (Nov 27, 2013) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, the &#8220;Y\u2019s&#8221; Excutive Director, Frank Conlin said, teams in the tournament were from the Dakotas, Canada, and a team from Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Conlin said with early Jamestown Public Schools dismissal on Wednesday December 4, 2013, the Y will host a &#8220;Float &amp; Flick&#8221; at the Y\u2019s pool, for Middle School students, with swimming and a movie. That evening the &#8220;Float &amp; Flick.&#8221; will be for K-3 &amp; 4 graders.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out the new &#8220;Battle Ropes,&#8221; program at the Y is successful with more ropes having been added, held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30-p.m., to 7:15-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Conlin said brochures are at the Y\u2019s front desk to sign up for the Winter One sessions, that start after the first of the year.<\/p>\n<p>He added the Y is closed on all of the upcoming holidays, and noted that the Y is open for indoor walking at 5-a.m.<\/p>\n<p>More information on all classes and activities available at the front desk or call 253-4101.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The James River Family &#8220;Y&#8221; in Jamestown recently hosted over 150 wrestlers with the tournament in conjunction with the University of Jamestown.
