(AP) &#8211; A lawsuit has been filed against the Richland<br \/>\nCounty Sheriff&#8217;s Office claiming two of its deputies used excessive<br \/>\nforce on three men during a traffic stop.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The\u00a0 lawsuit filed Tuesday is seeking unspecified damages for medical expenses, mental anguish, pain and suffering by Adam Nelson, Christopher Miranowski and Derek Grund.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The lawsuit claims Deputy Dan Wise and Deputy Steve Gjerdevig<br \/>\nacted inappropriately and violated the men&#8217;s civil rights during<br \/>\nand early morning traffic stop in August 2011.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Richland County Sheriff Larry Leshovsky refused comment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0FARGO, N.D.
