{"id":33335,"date":"2013-12-02T14:00:06","date_gmt":"2013-12-02T20:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=33335"},"modified":"2013-12-04T16:44:55","modified_gmt":"2013-12-04T22:44:55","slug":"two-in-custody-stabbing-incident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=33335","title":{"rendered":"Update, Two Charged  In Stabbing Incident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/JamestownPolice2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8926\" alt=\"JamestownPolice2\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/JamestownPolice2.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police report that two Jamestown men were taken in custody in connection with an altercation outside an apartment building Thursday which resulted in a third Jamestown man being stabbed.<\/p>\n<p>35-year-old Ernest Castillo,\u00a0of Jamestown\u00a0and 26-year-old Shawn Laber, of Mohall, ND\u00a0are both charged with aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Castillo and Laber face up to two years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say 36-year-old Harold Smith was stabbed with a steak knife on Thursday. He was airlifted to a Fargo hospital, but has been released.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Smith, was airlifted to a hospital in Fargo from Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment of a stab wound received from the altercation.<\/p>\n<p>The police were called to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center at 4:19 p.m. Thursday after\u00a0Smith took himself to JRMC for treatment of his wound.<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0was treated and released from the Fargo hospital and returned to Jamestown on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Castillo and Laber were taken\u00a0into custody after interviewed about the incident.<\/p>\n<p>There were several witnesses to the incident and they were interviewed.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police report that two Jamestown men were taken in custody in connection with an altercation outside an apartment building Thursday which resulted in a third Jamestown man being stabbed. 35-year-old Ernest Castillo,\u00a0of Jamestown\u00a0and 26-year-old Shawn Laber, of Mohall, ND\u00a0are both charged with aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy.
