{"id":33543,"date":"2013-12-18T09:00:14","date_gmt":"2013-12-18T15:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=33543"},"modified":"2013-12-18T09:47:24","modified_gmt":"2013-12-18T15:47:24","slug":"tourism-survey-part-of-re-branding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=33543","title":{"rendered":"Tourism Survey, Due Back Dec. 19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/frontiervillage1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1232\" alt=\"frontiervillage1\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/frontiervillage1-300x202.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi) \u00a0A reminder from Buffalo City Tourism, that surveys need to be returned to the tourism office by Thursday December 19, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Executive Director, Searle Swedlund says as tourism re-brands and plans the next 10 years of work, the tourism board is looking for evaluation of past efforts and feedback for tourism\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>The survey is geared to share feedback.<\/p>\n<p>Swedlund says, the survey was developed by a Tourism Board sub-committee and Red Plum Media, and is being distributed to hotels, restaurants, business people, and Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce groups.<\/p>\n<p>The results from Red Plum Media will be given to the Tourism Board after the first of the year for possible action in the re-branding process.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>An online version is available at<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s\/BuffaloCityTourism\"><b>https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/s\/BuffaloCityTourism<\/b><\/a><b> <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Previously<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Buffalo City Tourism Foundation has sent out surveys, as part of its re-branding process.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday\u2019s (Dec 3, 2013) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Tourism Director, Searle Swedlund said, the survey was developed by a Tourism Board sub-committee and Red Plum Media, and is being distributed to hotels, restaurants, business people, and Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce groups.<\/p>\n<p>He added anyone wishing to fill out a tourism survey may call the tourism office at 701-251-9145.<\/p>\n<p>The survey questions include if Buffalo City Tourism has successfully marketed the Jamestown area tourism message, successfully represented the community image and its assets, along with the importance of various Jamestown sites.<\/p>\n<p>Swedlund said the surveys need to be returned by December 19, 2013, for review, and the results from Red Plum will be given to the Tourism Board after the first of the year for possible action in the re-branding process.<\/p>\n<p>On another note, Swedlund said, in January he will attend the National Bus Association Conference in Nashville, along with sports shows in Milwaukee, Sioux Falls, and Minneapolis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Jamestown (CSi) \u00a0A reminder from Buffalo City Tourism, that surveys need to be returned to the tourism office by Thursday December 19, 2013.
