News) &#8212; The First Annual, Bark in the Park, will be on Sunday September 16, 2012, at McElroy Park\u2019s, Sertoma Shelter.<\/p>\n<p>The proceeds will go to support, Prairie Paws Rescue, and Service Dogs for America.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday\u2019s (Sept 7, 2012) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Prairie Paws\u2019, Kaye John said,<\/p>\n<p>the event gives individuals and their dogs the opportunity to walk one mile together in the park, while supporting Prairie Paws Rescue, and Service Dogs for America.<\/p>\n<p>Also on our show, Shelley Nanaga representing Service Dogs for America, said, dollars raised will be matched by Modern Woodmen, up to $2,500, with the proceeds benefiting the many needs of Prairie Paws Rescue and Service Dogs for America, Scholarship Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsorships are also available which gives promotion opportunities for businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Vendor booth space is available at no charge, however space is limited.<\/p>\n<p>Contact Shelley Nanaga. Her E-Mail is <a href=\"mailto:Shelley@greatplainsdogs.com\">Shelley@greatplainsdogs.com<\/a> or Kay John at<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:Prairiepawsrescue@hotmail.com\">Prairiepawsrescue@hotmail.com<\/a> Or call Kaye John at 701-320-4553.<\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with the walk in the park, Hugo\u2019s is sponsoring &#8220;Brats and Lots of Dogs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Registration begins at 12 noon, at McElroy Park\u2019s, Sertoma Shelter, with the walk starting at 1-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The registration fee is, per person (dogs free) is $15, children under 12 years old, $10, and a family is $25. This will get you into the walk, and food.<\/p>\n<p>Kaye says individuals with out K-9s can &#8220;rent a dog,&#8221; for the walk.<\/p>\n<p>Also during the walk, there will be a &#8220;best poker hand,&#8221; in addition to contests, such as &#8220;look alike,&#8221; best costume, silly dog tricks, and best tail waggin.<\/p>\n<p>Activities will include, demonstrations by Service Dogs for America, clipping booths, doggie booths, Prairie Paws Rescue, and other specialty vendors.<\/p>\n<p>There will be walks planned along the trail from the park, over to Pepper\u2019s Dog Park.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
