{"id":35194,"date":"2013-12-24T13:20:32","date_gmt":"2013-12-24T19:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=35194"},"modified":"2013-12-26T07:45:11","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T13:45:11","slug":"jfrd-called-to-propane-tank-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=35194","title":{"rendered":"JFRD Called To Propane Tank Fire, Shop Fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/rural-fire.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2010\" alt=\"rural fire\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/rural-fire-300x202.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/rural-fire-300x202.png 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/rural-fire-259x175.png 259w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/rural-fire.png 444w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) &#8211; The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called to a propane tank fire Monday, about 3:30-p.m. in a Northwest Ypsilanti trailer park.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the fire was listed as a malfunctioning valve on the 100 pound tank.<\/p>\n<p>Rural firefighters cooled the tank and manually close the valve.<\/p>\n<p>No other structures were threatened, with damage confined to the tank and valve.<\/p>\n<p>No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>Eleven rural fire fighters were on the scene, with four units about an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Rural Fire Fighters were called out about 2:40-p.m., on Tuesday to a shop fire at a location in Ypsilanti at 8829 43rd Street Southeast.<\/p>\n<p>The person reporting the fire said it was out before the units arrived on the scene, using a fire extinguisher.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters removed part of the ceiling of the shop, checking for hot spots, making sure the fire hadn&#8217;t spread from the chimney.<\/p>\n<p>Two trucks and seven firefighters were on scene, for about a half hour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) &#8211; The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called to a propane tank fire Monday, about 3:30-p.m. in a Northwest Ypsilanti trailer park.
