For New Year&#8217;s Eve, fireworks may be used from 9 a.m. Dec. 31 through 1 a.m. Jan. 1<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown Police says the only place to receive a permit to sell fireworks in Jamestown during this time period is Memory Fireworks.<\/p>\n<p>Tracy Wolf, along with his wife and son from Bismarck, have opened the Memory Fireworks location in Jamestown, on 24th Avenue Southwest, across from Superpumper, open from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Mandan fireworks vendors say they&#8217;re pleased with sales over the holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Britta Knutson manages the Memory Fireworks south of Mandan and says, that business is good and word is just starting to be spread that they are open. She says people are excited about being able to start the new year off with a bang.<\/p>\n<p>Mandan allows fireworks to be ignited within city limits after 5 p.m. on New Year&#8217;s Eve and until 1 a.m. on New Year&#8217;s Day. Across the river in Bismarck, it&#8217;s illegal to do so within city limits.<\/p>\n<p>Previously&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D.
