News) &#8212; The United Way of Stutsman County will be launching its campaign on Sept. 13 at the KC Hall.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00a0The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and includes many activities, such as a shoot out with community leaders, a cakewalk with cakes from various bakeries in town and bouncy games for children to begin fundraising toward the goal of $200,000.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">A full meal will also be served.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The theme for the campaign is &#8220;Be an All-Star&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">&#8220;We are very excited to launch the \u2018Be an All-Star campaign, &#8221; said Lynette Stoddart, president of the United Way of Stutsman County. &#8220;The team has set a much higher goal than in recent years, due to extra need in the community. We feel the support of the community will remain strong, and have every intention of meeting that goal.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The cost to attend the event is $7 for an adult, $4 for a child or $25 for a family, immediate family only. The United Way of Stutsman County helps 23 local agencies and over 99% of the money donated stays in Stutsman County. The organization will be doing an event every month for the rest of the year to help reach their campaign goal.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V.
