(AP) &#8211; A Dakotas-based health care system has granted hospital-admitting privileges to doctors at North Dakota&#8217;s sole abortion provider, bringing the Fargo clinic in compliance with a new state law.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In a statement to The Associated Press, Sanford Health says physicians at the Red River Women&#8217;s Clinic are credentialed at its hospital in Fargo.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The abortion clinic announced this week that it had entered into settlement talks with the state on a lawsuit over a new law requiring doctors who perform abortions to obtain hospital-admitting privileges.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Opponents had said the law would effectively make abortions illegal in North Dakota, fearing such credentials would nearly impossible to obtain.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Clinic officials and their lawyers didn&#8217;t immediately respond to a request for comment.
