{"id":4144,"date":"2012-09-18T14:06:18","date_gmt":"2012-09-18T19:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=4144"},"modified":"2012-09-18T14:06:18","modified_gmt":"2012-09-18T19:06:18","slug":"gene-sylvester-radermacher-sept-17-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=4144","title":{"rendered":"Gene Sylvester Radermacher, Sept. 17, 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Gene Sylvester Radermacher, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Oakes Community Hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Gene was born on August 26, 1945, in Melrose, Minnesota, son of Sylvester and Marie (Broerman) Radermacher. He was raised on the family farm near Melrose and attended school there until 1956.\u00a0 In 1957, the family moved to Monango, ND where he graduated from high school.\u00a0 Gene continued to farm with his family and married Brenda Lee Gohman of Berlin, ND, on September 28, 1968.\u00a0 The couple farmed near Monango for 35 years as dairy, Angus cattle, and crop producers until retiring in 2007.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Gene was director of the Maple Valley Farmers Coop and was a member of the Valley Township Board for over 30 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0Gene enjoyed family, friends, farming, and fishing.\u00a0 He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.\u00a0 Gene also enjoyed playing cards with his friends in Arizona.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">He is survived by his wife, Brenda; children, Jeffrey (Carrie), Wade, Sandra (Pat) Rivinius; and four grandchildren, Stephen and Rebecca Radermacher, Gabriel and Izabel Rivinius; and twelve brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">He is loved and sadly missed by everyone who knew him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong><br \/>\nEucharist of Christian Burial:<\/strong> \u00a010:30 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2012 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Visitation:<\/strong> 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Prayer Service:<\/strong> 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Interment:<\/strong> Mt.
