A pre-bid meeting will be held April 23<sup>rd with the bids opened and contracts awarded on May 2.<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>One pilot is interested in renting a bay at the hangar.<\/p>\n<p>The completion date is tentatively scheduled for December 1, 2014,with a $900-a-day penalty assessed to the contractor for going past the completion date.<\/p>\n<p>Mechanical work won&#8217;t be necessary as the hangar will not be heated, and the hangar does not need to be equipped for fire suppression after further review of the fire code.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) Plans have been approved by the Jamestown Regional Airport Authority along with specifications for an eight-bay T-hangar building and a crack sealing and repainting project on the asphalt at the airport.
