{"id":46265,"date":"2014-05-22T07:39:40","date_gmt":"2014-05-22T12:39:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=46265"},"modified":"2014-05-24T15:24:03","modified_gmt":"2014-05-24T20:24:03","slug":"ribbon-cutting-set-skywest-jmst-service-start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=46265","title":{"rendered":"Ribbon Cutting Set, SkyWest Jmst Service Start"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new airline service from United Airlines through SkyWest Airlines is set for June 20, 2014, 11:30 a.m., at Jamestown Regional Airport.<\/p>\n<p>At the Jamestown Regional Airport Authority meeting, members approved the low bid for a new T-hangar at the airport in the amount of $535,000 from Schumacher Construction of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The board is looking into financing options.<\/p>\n<p>The finance committee, will meet with Aiport Manager Matt Leitner next month, to bring a final recommendation for financing.<\/p>\n<p>The Authority has also approved engineering fees of $9,000 each to Interstate Engineering for a wetlands reduction project and to acquire a new airport rescue and firefighting truck, which will have an estimated cost of $600,000.<\/p>\n<p>90 percent of the new truck\u2019s cost will be paid for by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new airline service from United Airlines through SkyWest Airlines is set for June 20, 2014, 11:30 a.m., at Jamestown Regional Airport.
