News) &#8212; Join Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, for a free educational forum and open house in observance of National Breast Health Month.<\/p>\n<p>The JRMC mammography team will share best practices of breast health to help you detect breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>The education forum will begin at 12:00 p.m. and is part of the &#8220;JRMC U&#8221; education series.<\/p>\n<p>The forum will be hosted by Dawn McCarty, registered mammography technician at JRMC.<\/p>\n<p>A free, light lunch will be provided.<\/p>\n<p>Following the educational forum will be a mammography open house from 1:00 &#8211; 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Both events will be held in the lower level conference rooms at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. McCarty says, &#8220;As a cancer survivor and registered mammographer at JRMC, I know the importance of early detection. The educational forum and open house will educate you on why receiving a mammogram at JRMC is unique.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Please RSVP for the educational forum from 12:00 \u2013 1:00 p.m. to (701) 952-4796 as space is limited to 40 registrants.<\/p>\n<p>The open house is available to everyone from 1:00 \u2013 3:00 p.m., no RSVP is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>About JRMC U<br \/>\nJRMC U is a free education series held each month in the lower-level classroom at JRMC.
