{"id":51484,"date":"2014-08-05T11:25:42","date_gmt":"2014-08-05T16:25:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=51484"},"modified":"2014-08-06T08:30:47","modified_gmt":"2014-08-06T13:30:47","slug":"reported-stabbing-incident-at-cargill-plant-spiritwood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=51484","title":{"rendered":"Reported Knifing At Cargill Plant, Spiritwood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Stutsheriff.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1296\" alt=\"Stutsheriff\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Stutsheriff-300x202.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Stutsheriff-300x202.png 300w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Stutsheriff-259x175.png 259w, http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Stutsheriff.png 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Update Tuesday afternoon&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Spiritwood (CSi) A 56 year old member of a cleaning crew working at Cargill Malt in Spiritwood was purportedly lacerated with a knife by a co-worker of the crew late Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Stutsman County Sheriff, Chad Kaiser says the victim had gotten into an argument with a 39 year old male, which led to the altercation, and alleged knifing by the 39 year old.<\/p>\n<p>Kaiser says a Cargill employee called authorities. \u00a0When the Sheriff\u2019s Office arrived, the suspect was in a construction trailer, and offered no resistance. \u00a0\u00a0He says the cleaning crew is contracted out of Fargo, which sub-contracts workers.<\/p>\n<p>At this time no information was available as to their names or home towns.<\/p>\n<p>Kaiser says the victim received superficial lacerations and was taken by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service\u00a0 to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment, and released.<\/p>\n<p>He says the knife used was taken for evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Kaiser says the suspect was not taken into custody, and any charges are pending with the Stutsman County State\u2019s Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>He says the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducted an interview with the victim at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>More information will be available when the reported is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Reported \u00a0Tuesday Morning<\/p>\n<p>Spiritwood (CSi) Authorities are investigating a stabbing a the Cargill Malt plant in Spiritwood, that occurred late Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Initial information is that the victim was stabbed multiple times, and received head and leg wounds.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident the suspect was held in a room at the plant, until authorities arrived and was described as &#8220;cooperative.&#8221; Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s deputies and Jamestown Area Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was taken to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>No further information was available on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update Tuesday afternoon&#8230; Spiritwood (CSi) A 56 year old member of a cleaning crew working at Cargill Malt in Spiritwood was purportedly lacerated with a knife by a co-worker of the crew late Tuesday morning.
