Brian Miller and officer Andrew Noreen spotted a vehicle that matched the description of Baker\u2019s vehicle, a maroon Chevrolet Equinoix SUV, in the parking lot next to the Village&#8217;s amphitheater.<\/p>\n<p>Edinger says Miller and Noreen arrested Baker after they searched the vehicle and found a substance later identified as methamphetamine and meth-related drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n<p>He says Baker offered no resistance.<\/p>\n<p>She was taken into custody. Police charged her with methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine each is a Class &#8220;C&#8221; Felony.<\/p>\n<p>Formal charges are pending.<\/p>\n<p>Baker remained in custody at the LEC jail, with her court appearance pending.<\/p>\n<p>At that time a judge could set bond.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities began the search for her about 9-a.m., Tuesday, as a welfare check.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reported earlier&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger says 42 year old Mary Jo Baker\u00a0of Jamestown\u00a0the subject of a search\u00a0was located, Wednesday morning about 11:30, seen in a vehicle by police officers in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0She was taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Edinger says, no other information was officially being released late Wednesday morning, pending addtional information.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities began the search for her about 9-a.m., Tuesday, as a welfare check.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Previously&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown Police\u00a0 is searching for 42 year old Mary Jo Baker, of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>Police are looking to do a welfare check on her.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Chief John Johnson says Baker owns a maroon Chevrolet Equinox SUV with North Dakota license plate EVN 611.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s described as approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with shoulder length, dark brown hair.<\/p>\n<p>Officers began the search for Baker at 9 a.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson says her family and friends are concerned.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who has seen or been in contact with Baker is asked to call Stutsman County Communications at 252-1000.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger says 42 year old Mary Jo Baker of Jamestown the subject of a search was located, Wednesday morning about 11:30, seen in a vehicle by police officers in Southeast Jamestown.
